Checked. All attacks against XMR (and privacy in general) are bullish for XMR. XMR has the best Fundamentals in the whole crypto industry. Attacks will backfire, shake out weak fomo hands who are in it for the short term moonshoots. It wil make Monero more resilient and less and and less reliant on centralized bs. Even if they try to wipe xmr off the clearnet, it will just crab and keep growing than explode like a can of worms back on the clearnet. The privacy bubble should be epic.

You're projecting. Mining absolutely needs to be profitable, they need incentives in order to keep the network secure. If this does not happen, fees are increased to have said incentives. You don't expect to have miners working for free right? This isn't communism, fool.

That's for bitcoin though, it's sha-256. Monero uses cryptonote.
