The interoperability experiment in OP is specifically done with SETL.
But the interoperability is fundamentally nerfed, because in the example with the blockchain-to-blockchain transfer, the receiving blockchain has to be SETL.

So instead of
>"random blockchain chosen by the sender" to "random blockchain chosen by the receiver"

the transaction goes
>"random blockchain chosen by the sender" to "SETL's blockchain"

Obviously this is a highly limited setup; not to mention that SETL is an entirely centralized system (so no failsafes etc.)
