Most companies in their Q1 calls were already warning investors that Q2-Q4 would be bad. Fundamentals have gone into deep hibernation mode since price memory is what keeps these prices going. And its not like companies have been making more money for years.
That said, I still think a "bull run" is possible due to TINA. Small and mid caps are a lost cause for a while.

What is the basis of this? Historically, sure. But I don't think we ever "recovered" from 2008 except with a rush to pump equities and kill money velocity.
