Everyone warns me "enjoy life while you can", because later you get stuck with a family and a job etc.
Wouldn't I avoid exactly what they warn me for if I act like a workaholic now & then retire at 30 or so?

I'm 23 now and I know it'll be difficult to save up a sum to live off interests from quickly, but it just sounds more logical to me than enjoying a few more years of youth and then spending 30-40 years with a mediocre income.

I just feel like I've wasted the years "enjoying student life" because I have nothing to show for it but some memories and a graduation paper, so... (btw, no debt)

Heck, I hope I don't sound confused.

Workaholic mode with a wage slave career + a side business from home without a social life and luxuries -> retire in 10 years
or
Have a life and save 10% of income and keep a balance for the next 40 years?
