Any fellow bongs here know of any good ways to reduce capital gains tax? The government is thinking of reducing the threshold you have to pay down to just £2000.

As an unemployed millennial who was struggling to find work despite being well educated even before the pandemic started I don't see why I should have to pay for shit. The public put a bunch of retards to manage the country who didn't decide to lockdown early when evidence said otherwise. The uk government has now had to rack up billions in debt to support businesses and pay a high percentage of people's wages even if they're not going into work while I'm barely getting anything. These are the same businesses that won't give me a job but will prefer to hire someone with half my iq just because they can bullshit into a web camera during a video interview a bit better. And yes, after sending hundreds to thousands of job applications to places large and small across the country I think it's fair for me to blame society as a whole. After society not giving a fuck about me why should I give a fuck back to help pay other people's wages?

Now because I was actually smart enough to put a bit of cash into crypto before this all started the government think I can be their new piggy bank and I'm now in the situation where I might have to pay more cgt if I cash out when I'm actually at the bottom of socioeconomic ladder in this country compared to people who actually have better jobs than me. Fuck that, this is a shithole society and I have no incentives to pay anything in for people I don't know or care for.

Ding Dong Bing Bong. Sirs, I have great investment opportunity for you. The prestigious FTSE 100 of the London Stock Exchange which lists classy traditional stocks such as oil, banking, and of course tobacco. Over 2 DECADES of going sideways with neither strong growth or losses. If you want to preserve your wealth during the great currency debasements then the FTSE 100 is for you.

Good day fine fellows. I am here today on this respected investment forum to recommend to you gentlemen the lucractive opportunity of investing in the FTSE 100 of the London Stock Exchange.

Now, I understand that when not focused on trendy cryptocurrencies most stock discussion on this board leans towards American stock indices such as the S&P 500 and NASDAQ. These are of course fine choices, don't get me wrong however they lack a certain degree of class and sophistication. Rather than focusing on the low culture technology stocks of the American exchanges which are clearly only fads and trends which shall fade once the new latest techno gadget of a lesser known competitor comes to steal the limelight we here in Bongland focus on more traditional industries such as oil, banking and tobacco. All of which are key industries of the future and will provide superb growth opportunities if you invest now.

If that does not sound good enough the profits of most of our FTSE 100 stocks are sourced mainly from abroad and are in no way representitive of the wider Bongland economy outside of London which may as well not exist. In fact, this brings me onto another Bongland investment opportunity. Businesses, assets, infrastructure, all these things and more are easily purchasable in Bongland to the lowest asking foreign bidder. Our one technology stock, ARM, we sold to the japanese for peanuts. Innovative startups can be aquired for practically nothing and their intellectual property can be easily transfered abroad, we have no need for it. Hell, even our railway routes are owned by multiple subsidaries of the German state owned Deutsche Bahn. You'll find no better investment opportunity in the world than right here in Bongland. There is no need for any alarm, provided we here in the capital continue to make money through asset stripping we hardly care what happens to the rest of the country. Let the money flow my fine fellows!
