I grew up in an Arab household so I feel you.
I mean, I did lie and whatnot to go out and be as normie as I can be without getting in trouble, but it was like going against the grain, walking in sand, running uphill 24/7, anxiety ridden af and at times made me hate life.

I'm almost 30 too and I think I'm having more fun now.
The only thing I sort of miss are those missed opportunities of being out super late in summer with friends at a party or something when wasting time was all we had.
