I don't. I continue to buy silver and gold cheapies so long as the paper derivatives games continue. But the chinese citizens are locked into their own market. They're not allowed to buy gold from the west. They're forced to buy it at their exchange rates. And so it willl be for all the BRICS.
And then the west will have to follow suit, if it wants to trade with any BRICS. Because the dollar is going to be replaced with gold for international trade settlements.

Don't buy that on ebay unless you're an expert at US junk. You will probably get scammed.

Bank is going to take all those houses that were bought on credit. You will only be able to buy from people who are savvy.

First you find out what the tax consequences are, both for buying and selling any kind of metal. That way you don't make any costly mistakes.

Go to your branch and tell them you're closing your account. They will by law have to give you a cashier's check for the full balance in your account. Then go to a less retarded bank (or even better, a credit union) and open an account there.

That doesn't make it tax exempt. It just changes it from being a round (which are taxed the most) into a coin (which are taxed the least).

First find out what the tax laws are for buying & selling PMs in your country. That will keep you from making expensive mistakes.
In some countries, it's better to buy gold than silver (the later is heavily taxed). In some places, it's better to buy coins rather than bars. Don't buy anything until you fully understand all the tax consequences, both for buying and selling.

>taxes the entire sale
Yeah that's the worst case scenario, and they'll tax you even if you sold at a loss. In France, that's an 11.5% flat tax. But if you have a receipt in your name and the nominal purchase amount, you're only taxed on capital gains (if there are any) at 22%. But here's where it gets more interesting: the capital gains tax starts going down by 5% (compounded each year) after the third year of holding. After 22 years, the tax is 0%.
I also read on one site (can't remember which) that gold/silver coins (and only coins) sales transactions below 5000 euros aren't taxed at all, but I couldn't find the actual law, so I'm not convinced that's true.

There was an "insider" IT security guy who was working on their CBCD system that leaked some info. He said there will be 2 classes of people.
1. Sovereign individuals, who can basically buy anything they want, no rules apply to them (and probably their transactions aren't logged).
2. Everyone else are slaves to the system.
The number of people in the first category is very, very small. We're not in it! It's basically just the bankers and their pals.

The bankers probably did fund crypto research. If you watch Catherine Austin Fitts interviews (planetlockdownfilm.com), she explains clearly the stakes at play, and how the bankers have no other solution, if they want to remain in power.

Ping test alone isn't enough. You have to do all the tests I mentioned. Good luck, there has never been a fake that passes all those tests.
And with silver there's also the magnet test you can add to those. Of course gold isn't magnetic, but with a silver coin, a strong rare earth magnet will slooooowly slide off the surface. Watch the linked videos in /pmg/ for details.

I bought a tube of maples back in May for a little over 27/oz, as my first silver coins. If you're paying that much or even more today, then you're getting ripped off. Don't play their stupid speculative premium games, just buy whatever other major coin (brittania, wiener, krugerrand, kangaroo) is cheapest.
