That's a million times worse, it's comparable to storing your credit card in your phone case. Now when you lose your phone you also lose your wallet, absolutely great.

There is nothing more stupid than what you are suggesting. You're creating a single failure point which will absolutely ruin whoever is dumb enough to go along with it, and also will make it so no consumers will ever use your shitty web 3.0.

If that lack of service was acceptable to consumers for even the most trivial of things, don't you think that MMO video games would be happy to not have to offer customer service for lost accounts, rollbacks, etc? They'd jump at the chance to not have to spend money to have to support those things and just say "not your password, not our problem".

But guess what, if they didn't provide those services everyone would be really fucking angry the moment they can't reach customer support because a phishing scam landing page stole their character they spent 2000 hours and $500 on (some whales spend tens of thousands of dollars). If it can't even work for this fucking video game example, then web 3.0 can't work with fucking anything.
