Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, in general, have hit mass adoption. At my workplace, I constantly hear from people who before would just mention crypto. What's different now is that they're actually buying them. I've talked to some of my coworkers and they bought LTC at 100 and sold st 140, some who even bothered to send that money to exchanges to buy other alts. What's striking though is that NO ONE IS FUCKING BUYING SHIT WITH CRYPTO. One BTC transaction costs 22 bucks. If someone buys coffee with BTC they just end up having to spend 5 times as much for a fucking transaction. Imagine if your bank charged you that much when you used your credit card (inb4 juice). The whole point of a crypto CURRENCY is for people to use it to buy shit, but from what we can see no one isn't buying anything at all, partly because you can't and partly because it costs too fucking much. Furthermore, no one wants to spend money on something that is deflating. No one's spending money because of FOMO. How could you live with yourself if you spend what's now 0.1 billion on a pizza? Make your money fine, but realise that this shit fucking sucks.
