One of the main differences between 2017 and now is that in 2017 we had dumps caused by the shaky regulatory ground that crypto was on.
Everyone was wondering "is it going to be banned" so, for example, the big September 2017 dump was caused by China banning crypto.
With DeFi there is no fear about it being banned, we've clearly passed that point. So while there will be pullbacks and cooling off periods I can't see anything that will actually cause the same sort of market wide fear that we had in patches all through 2017.

So is this it? Is this actually the golden bullrun? Are we just going to see DeFi grow and grow and the global market cap just pump and pump and pump with only small retraces in between?
