Some Seikos have increased in value after being discontinued like the SKX007/009/013 or the SARB017. Those models are also widely shilled on Youtube/Reddit and other similar outlets.
But the fact is that there are still plenty of those watches and the Seikos from the 70's/80's aren't even that expensive so it likely won't moon ever.
Tissot belongs to the Omega group and is generally considered swisshit that is watches that cost 10$ to make in China and are sold as Swiss for insane markups. Most mid-range swiss companies fall into this sector, not counting their vintage watches before they went bankrupt, were bought out and turned simply into a brand name. The watches that have value in the collectors market generally have to have actual value and as much of it as possible has to be done by the company itself.
50's/60's Omegas themselves have actually quite increased in price in the last 10 years or so. Also authentic Soviet Union watches are becoming rarer as all kinds of fakes and frankenwatches are pumped out by ebay sellers. However Soviet watches don't really have a mainstream appeal and distinguishing fakes requires some autism that the mainstream (Reddit) don't possess, hence I doubt they'll appreciate any time soon.
Pic related my slavshit dresswatch, the smallest mass produced Soviet movement and covered in a thin layer of literal gold, though it's too thin to be worth anything. Had to wait for a month or so on ebay to get one that was authentic in a satisfactory condition
