It's still sounds like a scam, probably a long the lines of something like this:

If the average liver in a person process one drink of alcohol per hour, then in half and hour, it cuts the alcohol by 50%, the same thing SHOT is claiming.

So technically, if you only have one drink, they can claim after drinking SHOT, it reduces it by half, even though it would happen weather you drink shot or not.
