Hi /biz/, non-crypto thread, looking for some financial/life planning advice

What can I be doing to position myself to survive in the future? I'm planning to quit my wagecuck job in Sept so I can take a full five courses, but I'm paranoid about finishing my degree and then not being able to find work, not being able to move out, etc. I know I need to network, and bring my math skills to a particular industry in order to differentiate myself, but I wanted to do medicine originally, and am having a hard time letting that go, and finding the motivation to try/care/give a shit

Is profit sharing a good way to incentivize employees? Not expecting a bottom 10% worker to suddenly become a worker-god, but enough to align interests and ensure they do good work?
