Gamshire Bathaway, come on. 400k a share ( to start) would be so comfy.

Well, my stack is only 1XX, so unless we get into 40k~50k range I won't have coasting cash. As I said, 100k a share would be more than enough for most people and for people with 1k+ stacks they'd become a whole new class of people entirely

I work for a brokerage so I'm kinda curious how shit will go tomorrow. If I manage to make it mid-shift, I'm just going to log off the phone and tell my boss I quit on the spot.

Nice Hitler dubs. The pessimistic side of me thinks this is just a gambit to buy time for a happening. Something like a great depression or another 9/11 style event that flips the table. They're trying to run out the clock until the designated happening happens.
>Whoops! All the records of shorted stocks were lost in a cyber attack. Since we can't determine what was lost because we digitized everything, there's no legal culpability for us. Don't like it? Here's a document put together by our army of lawyers that will act as a get-out-of-jail-free card for our negligence. A few sacrificial lambs will get some fines but it'll be the equivalent of a slap to the wrist.
You won't see a penny of those fines, of course, that money will go to the same government oversight groups (SEC & FTC) that we lobby to ensure this kind of blatant chicanery can continue unabated. They'll invest in the same hedgefunds and banks that were responsible for this mess in the first place.
