Long story short, I bought a few Bitcoin when they were $600. Forgot about it for a couple years until all the excitement as we launched towards $20k. Sold most of my BTC and Bitcoin Cash that I had acquired for free at almost the top and went all in Link late 2017.

So I have 80k Link now. I work at Lowes mixing paint and pushing buggies. Nobody knows I have a quarter million dollars. Do you all tell your friends and family what you have? Don't you think they will be upset when you finally tell them or you start buying really nice stuff? I plan on selling enough to buy a beach house in a few years. The new Smartcontract.com logo and tagline is incredibly bullish. "Developing #Chainlink into the standard oracle framework relied on by smart contracts across blockchains."

Smartcontract.com has always been seen as different than Chainlink in that they are the enterprise oracle solution operating centralized oracles on private blockchains, whereas Chainlink is the public open source decentralized oracle network operating on ETH mainnet. By combining Smartcontract with Chainlink it could be suggesting a bridging of the two projects, a merger between enterprise solutions and public mainnet; a symbiosis of sorts.

The Federal Reserve, or any Central Bank, could potentially use Chainlink through Hyperledger's eThaler project.

As the Forbes Staff article shows, Hyperledger's eThaler will use the Ethereum blockchain to create a central bank digital currency (CBDC). The currency could be used as digital cash without going through banking middlemen, while also it could be potentially integrated into a retail payments system. The project was first announced earlier this year, and Accenture, Infosys, and Itau Bank in Brazil are all working together on the open-source project.

Most importantly:
"The token-issuance system will comply with the Token Taxonomy Framework, a collection of standards for enterprises using ethereum, developed by JPMorgan Chase, ConsenSys, and other members of the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, in April 2019."

Chainlink is, of course, a member of the Token Taxonomy Framework.

What could Chainlink possibly be used for?
"As the world of fiat and cryptocurrency increasingly merges, it’s not the currency itself that most has Bharathan’s attention. Rather, he thinks the biggest opportunity is for smart wallets that store the currency that can be programmed to automatically execute any number of tasks, from moving funds to a savings account, investing, or being made aware of changes in tax codes, not just for individuals, but institutions. 'It may not start off with a bang with a wallet holding a trillion dollars,' says Bharathan. 'But over time, it may.'”
