Look at VIDT tokens as a variable, in programming terms. You could validate without a token, but having a token makes the operation easier.

Per my previous FUD, Acronis, the competition, does not use separate tokens... Because it now uses Chainstack.

What is the V-ID Datalink (releasing July 1st)? It's kind of like Chainstack. Except V-ID isn't paying for Chainstack services... Because they operate it. Hope this helps.
