If it's any consolation, back when Numeraire launched, it immediately dumped for two days straight before miraculously spiking again and then weeks later far exceeding the original amount. Of course, it's hard to compare currencies with different histories, market caps, and timings, but it does help to illustrate the unusual behaviors of the market... and sometimes that unusual behavior is appreciated. It sure would be appreciated now.
