why dont billionaires just make public announcements telling everyone to buy a certain coin, before they themselves put in enough to turn it bullish, then wait for the price to skyrocket and sell it all off, potentially making their net worth go up 10-100x?

Lets say Jeff Bezos came out tomorrow, dumped 1mil into, say, CHZ, told everyone that it was a smart buy (including his billionaire friends) causing it to moon and hit 1k before riding and pulling out? Why do altcoins, hell even crypto in general, attract such little interest from people with actual money?

The closest thing we really have to this is XRP, whos buyers scrape up and scrap every single article and trace of actual support for evidence that its a good buy. You would figure any market with the potential to literally add 2 0's to your net worth overnight would have dominated the market by now. Whats up?
