No one in this thread can answer the OP question because no one truly knows the objective meaning of life and the universe. There are a million different theories, some mildly more credible than others, but no one knows for sure. And that's not to say that there is no meaning, but rather that the meaning is undefined.

Hence, everyone assigns their own definition to this unquestion. In other words, life has whatever meaning you assign to it. Drug addicts, scientists, CEO's, sports athletes and vagabonds all have one thing in common - they are doing the thing that makes them happiest in life and that to them is their meaning. That is what differentiates them from other anons. We spend our days on this website asking ourselves "why even bother" while the others simply "do" what it is that makes them happy, and they feel fulfilled, so they don't sit at home and ask themselves these questions. Accordingly, rates of depression amongst these people are obviously much lower than in us, the overthinkers and overly critical. So my advice is get out there and do what makes you happy regardless of how absurd it may seem, and regardless of the ridicule it may provoke from others.
