The only investing that happens in an economy where money is truly valuable is in actual productivity boosting capital improvements, which creates actual wealth and improves everyone's standard of living. The only things that people spend money on outside of necessities are things that make the pie bigger, or true luxury spending (unlike now where the money is so worthless long term that broke people buy luxuries even).

We would end up with a much less wasteful society with a much higher standard of living.
