What would prevent an authoritarian government from implementing this kind of tech? Speed? I understand most older blockchains are pretty slow and this could easily cripple this kind of system, but is it possible? If such tech were implemented, could other privacy-oriented tech like TOR/monero exist? Sorry if I sound like a noob - I am one.
