I feel ya. I have a friend who is still paying off his student loans and he complains about how he wanted Bernie to win because it's unfair that he has to pay his loans. At the end of the day it's my fault for thinking my friend wouldn't see me differently. I feel legitimately bad for making my friend FOMO. At least I have other friends who are already into stocks and don't feel conflicted by my luck. I should have known better since this guy's gf left him last year because of his poor finances. Hopefully he makes it, though.
