I'm from western Europe, but I'd love to work in the US. I'm doing an apprenticeship as a bank clerk at the moment and have a basic highschool diploma. However, I'd like to go to university in a few years. I don't know what I should study. What kinda jobs are needed in the US?

I have been there and done that. It is not about working hard, it is about giving up too early. It took me a long time to get a job that wasn't an $8/hr factory job that hired almost nothing but illegal immigrants. It is true that you can get a job if you are looking for any job, but actually making a living is getting harder and harder. Americans will eventually have to accept a lower standard of living.
