After Bitgrail crashed, there were several suicide threads on plebbit. Community did a great job and and in many cases kind hearted Nano whales offered to give them what they had lost. In one case, an unemployed man that had planned his wedding lost everything, offer to give money to victims were too late. He never replied to the offer and was never seen again after he said goodbye to the community. People wanted to donate money/Nano to the Bitgrail victims and asked publicly Nano Foundation to organize it. However, the Nano Foundation couldn't care less and didn't even bother to respond.

Disclaimer, I did not lose money on Bitgrail, as I sold all my Nano when I realized the devs lied about their 7000 TPS, reality was a little over 200 TPS, but I became very close and I could easily have been one of them. The way team Nano behaved is disgusting.
