If you divide the price of Gold by the M2 monetary supply, you might notice a couple things.
One is that the spot price has been trading sideways for eight years in real terms. Another is that for the first time in a couple years we have a monthly close above the 200 wma, assuming the bottom doesn't drop out tomorrow.
