In the shorter term they are focusing on setting up remittance rails worldwide that are already faster and cheaper and more accessible than current methods. Sofar they are live from US/Mexico, and planned upcoming rails are (pic related.)

In the longer term they will be using their stack to offer KYC/AML to crypto services/Dapps as regulatory laws are put into the crypto space. A bonus perk for integrations will be Everest offering sybil resistance & Tradfi payments directly on-chain right to their Dapp.

Price will go up as all these services will take ID token for payment, 60% of the transaction will be burned, with 40% paid to validators. Validators themselves will need 400k ID staked to run a node, (with 21 minimum nodes needed and 100 maximum) anyone with less than the 400k can delegate to a Validator of their choice for earnings.

Someone a few threads ago was talking about Brad meeting with Everest team at the yacht part for a partnership, sounds like it could be real after all, if so it's already live.

can someone explain?
This is a leaked partnership doc between Everest and Moneygram. Everest recently set up their first remittance corridor between USA/Mexico, and have a (pic related) roadmap to set up corridors worldwide. Seeing as Everest is faster and cheaper and can be done off your phone instead of inside a Moneygram building, this sounds like a pivoting partnership because Moneygram is about go the way of Blockbuster.

There are numerous established proof of concepts in place.
Indonesia leveraged Everest's platform to streamline oil subsidy distribution with millions of locals securely storing their private data. This saves Indonesia 1.3 Bn in subsidy funds per year.
The fully functioning Fiat on/off rails for Remittance payments between the US and Mexico outpace established Remittance systems, and undercut the cost of transfers by orders of magnitude.
The ID token is needed for the expanse of utilities Everest provides, crosschain, into any dApp.
CRDT is needed to replace existing fiat systems with regulatory compliant, programmable CBDCs.
The project won't be limited to only Ethereum, it's crosschain and bridging TradFi <-> DeFi while utilizing its own Everchain.

The demand will come from crypto services being forced to meet incoming regulation standards for their platforms.
Everest is the only one ready with a crosschain, globally operating solution that the industry is suddenly being required to adopt.
User onboarding is tied to the referral bonus program these crypto services will be taking advantage of to get people signed up for their now regulatory compliant products.

Limited use cases for now, so all but the most hardcore autist would wait to try use it. Currently have a working ACH Fiat <-> Crypto pipeline but its only for Remittances between USA and Mexico.
Demonstration here:

Latest newsletter said they are adding more remittance corridors, as per the posted roadmap, and currently building TradFi <-> DeFi USD payments crosschain for ETH & Polygon.

Very much still exist. They just lauched a working remittances rail from US/Mexico the other week and will be deploying them to many more countries, faster and cheaper remittances.
Meanwhile cRipple has been circlejerking about setting remittances up and have nothing to show for it after 9 years, Everest has it built.

How many of them already have a 'to market' product running? Everest launched remittances from US to Mexico and has a roadmap to expand to many more countries. You know what market goes up in recessions? Remittances.
