I don't even care if I see no benefit from coal mining companies establishing ties with Asia for exporting our steam coal over there. I just want to see this happen. It boggles my mind how the U.S. coal industry has been allowed to collapse by 50%, despite very strong international demand for coal, when we are sitting on the world's largest reserves including some of the world's best coals.
I don't get it, and I worry about the future of coal miners and coal companies here.
