Well in that case the monetary system would still collapse.
If you think many people would survive for long in such a world youre wrong, not even gold would matter, the biggest resources would be food, clean water and safe shelter.
And power generators, stuff that survive flares also.

But even if you do live in a vilage, offgrid have your own farm, with a well and enough food stocked/growing to survive, youd not only need to defend yourself from people who dont and would only try to take it.
But also pray you survive shit like nuclear power plant meltdowns since electronics that are in charge of regulating temperatures and shit would go bust. And replacements couldnt come in on time due to logistics failing on the accound people would be killing each other.

It would hardly be life, it would be a fight for survival, money wouldn’t matter. Thats my point
