>Can someone explain to my how Monero works so even devs do not know how to trace transactions apparently
Public key cryptography. Monero actually uses (a modern version of) cryptography developed in the 70's so that spy networks could send confidential information over an insecure channel that is likely to be monitored by an adversary. Monero takes this well-understood cryptography (known as a Diffie-Hellman key exchange) and uses it to generate a "stealth address" so that the only thing actually stored on the blockchain for receiving address is an encrypted string of characters no adversarial party trying to view transaction flow could derive information from. The cryptography of Monero has no dependence on special dev knowledge any more than Whitfield Diffie and Martin Hellman have any secret power to decrypt a D-H key exchange. This just covers one aspect of Monero's privacy (stealth addresses) but it's arguably the most important aspect and is based on iron-clad, very well tested cryptography.
