Can someone tell me why everyone talks about XRP being the choice of the banks or some kind of New World Order digital currency? As far as I can tell it has only been adopted by banks in India, or am I wrong?

I always thought that the price was designed for it to be low for mass adoption, the CTO David Schwartz disagrees, but of course he'd say that I suppose. All these LARPs on /biz/ lately have thrown around the figure of $2000 so is that even feasibly possible to begin with and why? Would like to get to the bottom of this.

Can someone redpill me on Ripple (XRP)? I haven’t bought into BTC because I don’t ever see myself using it as money and I’m not a speculator. But I guess XRP is a whole different idea? I am a total n00b so please keep it as “layman” as possible.

From what I understand it’s blockchain for banks instead of drug dealers. If this is true, the first thing I don’t understand is why average people would buy them if it’s for institutions. If you’re feeling inspired can you answer these too:

Hello, so I was looking at the stock market, specifically about cryptocurrencies, and I saw that the XRP coin had an enormous increase in stock price in just a few years (1,514x).

So I was wondering (since I'm pretty new at this), if someone invested in XRP, 10k when the price was at 0.0021$, would he be able to get 15.1 million dollars, when the price was at 3.18$?

If yes, how come people haven't done something like that? Or at least I haven't heared of.
Is it really that easy? What are the risks? If you can 2x your money, can you also go into debt while doing this?
