SpaceX is talking about getting rocket engines down to the price of 250,000. dollars each.

Currently they cost 1-2 million each when the 1970s RS-25s cost 140 million each.

SpaceX will be able to build entire star ships for less money than a single SLS engine that can only be used once.

You have to start somewhere to convince investors to hand over star ship money.

Look at what SpaceX is doing, they're casually transporting rocket engines around.

A rs-25 costs 140 million while a SpaceX engine costs around 2 million.
