>So is this all ONLY in Russia though? I don’t think I’ve seen anyone speak of this on dread.

Using the postal system is still reasonably safe and effective provided you abide by OPSEC best practices. So Western vendors don't consider dead drops worth the hassle yet.

Dead drops make more sense for very high value deals where you absolutely positively do not want to risk interception or seizure e.g. buying 5 figure amounts of cash or one of those massive good delivery gold bars.

>How does ordering from black markets work? I am very skeptical about putting my name and address when I’m about to finish my order

Its essentially the same thing as ordering from Amazon, you place the order and you'll get a package delivered.

Its recommended that you use PGP to encrypt your delivery details, that way if the site or dealer get busted there's nothing incriminating you. But even if there was, the cops don't give a shit about recreational buyers.

>In a way xmr being banned from most exchanges is a blessing in disguise since it’s nearly impossible to buy in unless you want to actually use it as a currency

Things will get a lot easier once Haveno and Serai are launched and forked, they're specifically designing them to be n00b-friendly so that pretty much anybody will soon be able to buy and sell XMR with relative ease.

This is absolutely critical for the Monero economy and I'd be a lot more concerned if they weren't already on the horizon.

Couple that with a consistently growing online black market and its impossible to not feel excited about the future.

My portfolio :

>$200 monero
>13k silver 7k Gold
>30k oil, uranium, and royalty companies
>10k in commercial office REITs and dividend companies.

It is the perfect time for me to accumulate Monero. In the short term the regulatory fuckery will likely cause Monero to drop below 100 dollars but in the end, the tech's usefulness (private, cocaine backed, cartel secured) will win in the end.

>What the fuck do you mean "fake and gay"?

It's provably the result of orchestrated fraud and manipulation as opposed to organic supply and demand.

>Also, if it's so easy to "fake" bitcoin price action then, well, bad news for you, monerotards, it's even easier to manipulate a crypto with a tiny market cap like xmr.

lol nobody has claimed Monero isn't also being wash traded, as long as CEXs are in play that always remains a possibility. We're simply pointing out that unlike BTC, an ever-growing factor in XMR's price action is organic supply and demand i.e. actual economic activity related to increasing black market + ransomware sector adoption.

So as that demand grows AND Monero continues being delisted from CEXs we'll begin to see what Monero's true market value really is. Meanwhile, BTC is left relying on hype and wash trading to keep the overinflated price up, which is a losing long-term proposition.

Consider asking friends or family if they'd be intredasted in buying X amount of Monero from you every month. As awareness and demand for XMR increases this may become a viable option.

Putting aside the utter delusion of your meme and subsequent post. I do hope there are plans in monero to move away from ring signatures. They are better than transparent txs but they are certainly not impossible to surveil
