I'm a burger, so I can't really understand much of what's going on in Canada from an economic standpoint. I know it's meme'd that leaves are struggling, but when pic related is an actual thing, it isn't just a meme.

I know the money printing is absurd, but how long has this been a thing? Can literally all of this be pinned on Trudeau and his policies? Grocery store prices and overall inflated prices on every possible good and commodity is usually the result of decades worth of atrocious economic action, and would probably take at least ten years to dig out of. America recovering after the great depression took that long, plus a war (which isn't economically possible in this generation). It will probably take a younger group of people pissed off enough to get involved with politics to right the ship, and that alone is going to take time for someone (or some group) of economic minded leaders to rise through the ranks.
