I don't know OP. I've done about 6 month of accounting work and passed the CPA exam, which was a pain to study for. I guess I should have done engineering, but what if that is as boring or more boring? Life isn't all fun and games. I plan to work no more than 30 hours if I work at a cpa firm long-term. If work in industry, that might be better. CPA firms are kind of stressful.

I think every job is going have some stress and boredom or shit you don't want to do. That's why they pay you to do it.
