But honestly the reality is even if you were one of the people that just got handed 10,000 btc in early 2009 you would have probably sold at $1 or $10 thinking you got a huge crazy gain, so don’t be too sad about missing out on $50k/coin or whatever 6-7 figure it reaches in the coming decade

My parents asked if I could sell my Bitcoin when it reaches $100K this year so we can buy a house and they can retire.

My parents lost their house 20 years ago because medical issues my mum had which forced them to sell the house for the treatment.

I wanted to always hold onto my BTC until it was about $500k even if it took till 2030+, but they’re complaining about work now and being old and tired and said they don’t have much energy left to keep working and paying rent for another 5+ years

How do I overcome shitty parenting?

The fact I’m even here on /biz/ is a miracle.

I’ve witnessed my parents slowly lose their wealth and get poorer and poorer every decade. They could have easily been extemely well off but they were the ultimate FUDS, and it ended up with them never investing any money

How can I not end up like them?
