The stocks dump on these great news specifically because they're a good investment.
Imagine that you were part of the small hat long nose tribe and could manipulate the stocks, what would you do when you hear something has more or less risk free value?
You tank the stocks and keep them down to demoralize people out of it and then accumulate them in all silence. Then once again get the swingoids jumping in once you decide to finally let the stock move up.
Then we get people saying they wish they didn't sell at the bottom taking a huge beating before jumping back in at higher prices.
People need to start being more patient with these moves and switch their attention span from the weekly or even monthly range to the +1 year outlook and things are going to get a lot more stress free and lucrative.
