I can agree with this. what i've learned is that if you're going to go PMs - go physical or go with mining stocks. that SLV shit is algo'd the fuck out and does not seem to operate like other normal ETFs to me, so yes I got duped into SLV

that may be true, but thats whats going on in the stock market right now. I've got stocks i put the exact same amount of money in as PMs and those are up 25-55% - the stock market is simply gaining faster right now and will for the forseeable future.

when i bought my physical silver, i literally fucking meme'd into it. I had extra money that I knew i was going to spend and instead of buying frivolous shit, i said fuck it and bought silver bc it was shiny and i could resell it later and get my money back, while satisfying that itch to "buy something". i got lucky that it mooned over the summer. that was not strategy that was complete dumbshit luck on my part

at least when i buy stocks i have a strategy, understand those businesses, and it is not luck when my stocks go up, its actual DYOR and value investing
