Honestly, Shai seems like a good guy and I don't think he would try to control the network. This is more a thought experiment since we've all assumed it's not possible.

Additionally, supply is not distributed evenly (duh) and he stands to gain the most from everyone else's efforts. No one else comes close to having as much of the supply. He could also nuke ZNN to sub-cent levels if he grew tired of the project.
