Keep in mind most people will blow this out of proportion, it is very unlikely (currently) that someone gaining physical access to your Trezor actually has enough skill to pull this exploit off

You _could_ always create a 24 word seed phrase on the hardware wallet, capture the addresses for the cryptos you want to store, then wipe the device so all that you are left with is physical access to your 24 word seed phrase and no other mean can compromise your wallet. I prefer this option for cold storing, if you create the 24 word seed phrase on the actual hardware wallet, it never loads on your computer regardless if we are looking at hard drive cache or saved on RAM. The only negative here is convenience is lower than if you just kept the access on your hardware wallet
