>BTC is propped up by the MASS DELUSION that it is inevitably headed for $100K
The interesting, and kind of worrying thing is that there is an ever widening and massive disconnect between essentially TA and FA. If you look at the general price tendencies, TA, run the numbers with inflation/halvening and supply dynamics. You get those aforementioned 100k or even millions of dollars. And many willfully submit to these ignoring the basic fucking things that hold these up. Or the FA part.

From a fundamentals perspective, Bitcoin failed. I don't think there is any need to detail it more. The thing that *is* changing with the upcoming cycle is the potential for better fundamentals. Sure, Bitcoin always had kind of weak fundamentals (and even weaker fundamental relative to alts later on). But the investorial bubble did not collapse especially because of a speculative FA floating in the sky. Be it programmable money, several thousand tps, or instant payments, when the previous narrative proved to be ineffective a weaker one came to rescue the hopes and dreams of investors. However, in the background there is still a tendency for these to both become weaker and underlying network health to deteriorate. And I speculate that with the network's lifeline, its block reward, getting halved again alongside with harsher macroeconomic condition both the small and large scale investors will have to face reality that the "possible Bitcoin" is simply no longer there.
