love is bullshit in the context of a hyperpost-modern society that allows divorce and frivolous marriage where the couples don't even usually have a baby right away. the whole point of love is to give a word to the longterm pair-bonding experience so that children can be raised in a stable household and enjoy the benefits of mother and father's teaching.
my parents married, they hate each other, they're not in love, but my mom conned my dad into believing in love so that she can get the security of his wagecuck paycheck. love is supposed to be an eternal bond, but since people can just "fall out of love" due to financial or life changes, then it's bullshit.
