On the off chance you are not, read the bible. Do not let your shitty parents and upbringing taint your view of Christianity. It is all about looking within to find God, strengthening yourself to be ready to do what you need to and seeking the Truth and the way (Logos) above all else. Jesus was the human incarnation of the word, the logos. Keep in mind that no amount of reading the bible will draw you close to God, and no one can do that for you either. You have to seek him out for yourself, and he will reveal himself to you. One other thing, google "Old norce and ancient Hebrew alphabet" and tell me you do not see the drastic similarities.
