A megawatt scale free-electron laser would annihilate any spacecraft or station within a light-hour (read: Earth to Jupiter). With that as the ICBM analogy, my prediction for interplanetary warfare is that it'll be like the Cold War, a bunch of posturing and covert low-intensity bullshit. You actually do need FTL to get spacecraft that can outrun a sufficiently powerful X-ray laser, because nothing made of matter can block one.
