Let me present to you a theory. Mining is by definition the cheapest way to obtain Bitcoin. So when the price nears the price floor, everyone knows it's the price floor, and everyone tries to get cheap bitcoin (to resell later once we are above the price floor). Because mining is the cheapest way to get Bitcoin tons of people start mining. And as many of miners join the network, the difficulty of mining skyrockets, and thus the value (price) of Bitcoin bounces above the price floor.

Self fulfilling prophecy.

dim the lights, get cozy and listen to this:

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/audio/2018-04-10/the-world-is-cracking-down-on-bitcoin-except-japan

it's long but it tells you exactly who Roger Ver really is. the tl;dr version is that he is someone you want on "your side" in crypto. after listening remember that he now believes the most in Bitcoin Cash.

first time using btc instead of ETH in over a year and its terrible- no wonder normies hate crypto, the entry experience is painful

>buy $1000 worth of BTC on coinbase (more than a new account can buy in a month because reasons)
>pay coinbase fee
>pay "payment method fee" like its the 90s
>send $500 to two addresses, pay x2 miner fees
>wait an hour
>first transaction not even on the blockchain yet, 2nd stuck af 1 confirmation for 40 min

Even banks are easier to use at this point. All alts are going to keep getting JUSTd until the flippening happens and BTC finally fucks off

Does anyone know where I could buy ETH (or anything else for that matter) directly without having to go through exchanges and their fees?

Pic unrelated

Hey idiots. Remember how all of you were asking if you got into crypto too late? Guess what? The market is rewinding to give you a second chance. Don't blow it.

Just a reminder that crypto marketcap is under 1 trillion still, majority of it is BTC, and a global industry, we've got another good 8 months at least anons before the market crashes. Play smart and we all can make it.

Alright /biz/, what would you do with a single BTC if you had it right now?

https://howmuchisbitcoin.info/

Been watching the price all day, I probably would sell it, put half in to mutual funds, and use the other half to pay my medical bills.

Please, for the love of God, stop caving into greed. We were better off when it oscillated between 5-6k, where we made money off the dips. Now, this is just obscene, but for some reason, my instinct is telling me this is not a bubble, but a 15% drop is imminent when folks cash out for christmas. Thoughts?
