I posted about the ledger hack for ideas of charging for a website that would let users know if they were affected. It turns out it does already exist (haveibeenpwned). The month long ban was for "you will not post or discuss anything that violates US law." Neither of my appeals answered what was illegal about it. Is mere possession of the list from pastebin illegal? (deleted it already, I wasn't on it) Or that I would be charging for the service (websites aren't free). I cant get in legal trouble from just discussing this on /biz/ right? I had no intent to do anything illegal or unethical and not part of the hack.

Going to be storing my bits and bobs for a while and looking at a hardware wallet on ebay used. I always try to be frugal but I'm concerned about the security of a second hand unit. Can these be formatted and new passcodes entered or are they a one shot deal?

just bought one of these and jesus christ every transaction feels like I'm defusing a bomb triple checking addresses clicking on both the computer and the device, gas prices, something about ETH parent accounts then some transactions not being confirmed for entire days for some reason and so on

and everything I do have on it feels like it's not even there so I have to check my portfolio dozens of times per day to make sure it's all there

it's like I just bought a device that made me 10x more anxious and stressful about all this, why can't all this just be username and a password with a single click of a button and that's it am I just too dumb for this??
