The most bitcoin has ever lost is 94% of its value during a crash. That means downside is probably at 1100-1200. That's only the price of Bitcoin a year ago.

You will all be fine.

If you want some tips for dealing with the psychological stress I can give you some.

1. Don't drink coffee, this stuff seriously fucks with you if you have a significant source of stress, as it slows the breakdown of adrenaline etc. Takes like three days to get back to normal.

2. Honestly, it's crashing, why wouldn't you sell and rebuy? Its quite painful, but you could try with a single unit first, realize its not bad any maybe sell half.

Don't check all the time- some people can handle looking- most can't. I'm pretty sure the people who can handle watching all the time are those who didn't invest too much (only what they can lose).

Frequently I get panic attacks about these things if my dopamine drops too low, listen to music when its really bad, watch porn, see if you care less. If you have it in your head that you're a holder for a few years, this will reset you to possibly understand where you used to be thinking before the cortisol and so on made you less intelligent in the short term. Stress makes you stupid, thats why women make people stupid because they test you and shit. I digress.

Well ETH had its first dip when the creators said they were selling quite a lot to buy Swiss francs to fund their expenditures for what they said was the next six months. Six months from then is sometime in February; it wouldn't be unreasonable for people to sit out some and wait to see if they sell more, or whatever else they may do. Not sure how much they sold though, you would have to look it up and make a decision on wether it's a big deal or not.

I do believe it is that talk, it's incredibly interesting to hear from them. I'll look at your link.

I don't hold crypto because I would like to keep my money on an exchange to trade on weekends for fun. On the other hand, I have enough money I would invest that I don't want it to be hacked. It's probably a good thing though, way too much stress as is.

I might put some orders at $400. At the moment it's way too far away for me to really think about. I think if 7600 would break you would start seeing blood in the water though. I generally don't see trends continue after they break a .618 retrace; If they do, they normally return to baseline.

Leonardo Da Vinci was a homosexual pedophile. Not relevant, but I'm reading a biography on him.

If i set limit orders on coinbase, but they shut down because of volatility, do my orders go through, or do they shut down all orders, not just new ones?

Thanks for the info, it's interesting.

I made a mistake by not clarifying that I don't touch crypto. I exclusively trade oil futures at a prop firm in Chicago WTI/Brent.

Isn't there some sort of fatal conspiracy around BCH at the moment?

Pay is mostly based on how much money one makes at this point. The longer you're at a firm the more as a % they give you and the more money they let you use.

I studied Econ/Math

Hard work first, but once you get to know an asset it's easier. The hardest part is maintaining a lifestyle that lets you keep a level head... Can't be hungover, overcaffeinated, on a period (for girls). ETC

20 years I hope to be retired, but I think everyone in this generation would like to think that way.

Yes, I know how to trade options. It's good to know when you have a crazy idea, but think it will work anyway, less risk. Futures can be incredibly risky, but better for taxes and other things in the short term.
