the blockchain can't function without the staking token, its a dpos blockchain based on cosmos, so its the only way to have scalable secure infrastructure, also the dvpn logic is embedded in the chain itself (thats why it couldn't be built on ethereum) so it literally can't work otherwise.

sentinel allows anybody to use the service by paying in whatever crypto they want, so the token is not forced upon end users, you could use this by only paying with BTC and never touch the token ever
