if it were my own, i would break down to them the difference in returns, the easy one is how its easier to go from 10 million to 100 million than it is to go from 100 billion to 1 trillion, my mum has been patient with me after i learnt about it in 2020, told her my savings amount wholly and solely to it and shes happy with the logic and my lax attitude if i lose the money, dad doesn't ask and i dont tell him.

really its a rock and a hard place to be trying to invest your fathers money for him, if he rolls it into bitcoin he'll be unhappy with the poor returns and high risk, if he waits around for kleros odds are he'll get uppity and fidgety when it starts to hit the numbers that make people do silly billy shit (don't forget idiots who were selling their properties and such last bullrun). you could best of both worlds it and suggest splitting the amount half half, but then you might just have the issues of both, thats even to say he would be pleased pleased to make a lot of money of kleros either, ive opted to put as much of my own money into it, with chump change from parents to give them something of a gift later down the line (if i have bet on the right horse)
