Damn anon I was also supposed to be a gifted child. French that went to UK as a child. After 3 months there spoke perfect English my teachers said I would probably end up at Oxford or Cambridge. Went back to France. Best high-school, best political school, then parents divorced ugly gf left and now I'm a 27yo drunk NEET depressed at the future and seeing no light.
