You gotta stick with your guns my man. I was shilling MARA when it was $2 and barely anyone bought then 2 months later it went up 1000%+ from when I bought. Some times it takes awhile for a meme to catch on, but you shouldn't be upset about making profit. There will always be the next meme.

I trimmed early at $20, but that was my price target so I'm not too mad about it and you can only look at as being bad in hindsight. I'm still hanging on to 100 shares and various different calls and LEAPS. Hopefully what these schizos say about bitcoin being 100k by EOY turns out to be true. Definitely would average up on my shares if we have a nasty -20% day or more.

I sold half my MARA today frens, made a lot over the last couple months, both stock and calls. I'm thinking SRAC next with the upcoming merger and recent oversell, probably calls for Feb. 19th. Does anyone know when exactly the merger is? Furthermore is there a screencap or something of some solid DD and price expectations? I haven't been following it closely and looking to start my research.

According to the stock to flow model, which bitcoin has followed closely since its inception, in this cycle bitcoin will reach 90k or so. With current information available, MARA has a breakeven price of around 4k, so as long as bitcoin is above 4k, MARA should be making profits. By the end of 2021 they will have something like 7% or 10% of global hashing power, giving the ability to mine 15 to 20 bitcoins per day roughly, but that is assuming current mining level difficulty. With stimulus after stimulus being produced recently, the strength of the dollar has declined and investors are looking for places to maintain their buying power. One of those possible places is bitcoin with its finite supply. Many investment banks have given outlandish price targets for bitcoin such as 500k. Recently, the US bank regulator has given the OK for banks to use blockchain technology and MARA plans to make their own North American mining pool that is audited by a third party and that should bring some credibility to bitcoin mining (my speculation here). It is not something you should all in as bitcoin is extremely volatile and can drop thousands of dollars in minutes, again due to the finite supply. I purchased MARA shares and LEAPS in the $2 range just 2 months ago. I have taken away my cost basis and I will hold my shares until there is word that the US wants to add regulations to bitcoin. If momentum holds up in bitcoin, I can see it being $40 by the end of the year. However, you should be wary since its up 682% since I purchased it. If you do choose to buy, choose a set amount you want to invest with a slowly average. There is no telling when bitcoin will have a pull back and in turn cause the price of MARA to fall. Its undervalued for its future mining hash rate. It will be the largest public miner by the end of the year. However a lot of people are considering a bitcoin crash some time this month of next month (Chinese New Year), so if you are gonna buy in, slowly average in and personally I would stick to shares or LEAPS for 2022/2023.
